Recording Artist Amanda Nolan Pledges Support For HF™ Through New Album

Holmes, PA – Amanda Nolan, a 13-year singer/songwriter from Wallingford, Pennsylvania is taking the stage against blood cancer by selflessly donating a percentage of sales of her newly released self-titled album to support the HEADstrong Foundation™.

While performing at an event this past weekend, Nolan shared HEADstrong’s mission and the story of Nick Colleluori with her audience, encouraging her fans to get involved with the cause.  On Monday Amanda Nolan submitted a donation based on recent sales of her album to the organization.

“After reading Nick’s incredible story and learning about the foundation he started, I was inspired to get involved.  As a singer/songwriter I pour my emotions, thoughts and feelings into my music.  I immediately connected with Nick Colleluori, because HEADstrong is his song.  His words are the lyrics that formed this great organization, the melody is the essential services they provide to cancer patients and the notes are the supporters that continue to fulfill his vision.  I am honored to represent everything that he stood for and will recognize him and those affected by this disease every time I take the stage.” Amanda Nolan

“It is truly remarkable that at 13 years old Amanda Nolan understands the importance of giving back and we are honored that she has selected HEADstrong as the cause that she supports.  Amanda’s selfless act is a pure example that you are never too young to make a difference.  The passion in her young voice, reminds me of the same passion that our Nick had for life.  On behalf of the HEADstrong Foundation, those affected by blood cancer and our Nick we wish to extend our sincere appreciation to Amanda Nolan for helping us to get aHEAD of cancer.” Cheryl Colleluori, HF President and Nick’s Mom
