Record Number of Colleges Facing-Off For HEADstrong This Fall 

Holmes, PA – With school back in session and the fall lacrosse season in full swing, college teams from across the country are gearing up to face-off against blood cancer in support of the HEADstrong Foundation™.  This year, a record breaking 38 DI, DII, DIII and club men’s and women’s college programs will unite to make a relentless statement at their respected campuses for the cause.

Over the next 6 weeks student-athletes will be doing their part to help promote blood cancer awareness by hosting HEADstrong awareness stations, selling HF™ t-shirts and collecting pledges.  The funds raised will be instrumental in allowing the HEADstrong Foundation™ to strengthen their commitment to cancer patients and their families.  The teams will then participate in one of HF’s fall events which are focused on elevating blood cancer awareness, honoring those affected by the diseases and raising funds to support the essential programs and services for cancer patients and their families by the organization.
