Patriots Receiver Chris Hogan To Pledge Each Catch This Season To HEADstrong Foundation
Foxborough, MA – New England Patriots Wide Receiver #15 Chris Hogan announced that he will pledge $15 for each catch he records this season to support the HEADstrong Foundation. HEADstrong Foundation is a non-profit organization working to improve lives affected by cancer (www.HEADstrong.org). Hogan was acquired by the Patriots this offseason and he is already making a name for himself recording 9 catches for 115 yards and a touchdown this preseason.

HEADstrong Foundation was started by multisport athlete Nicholas Colleluori who was terminally diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2005 while playing lacrosse at Hofstra University. As a patient, Colleluori witnessed a lack of available resources and created the organization to help families navigate their cancer journey with greater dignity and normalcy. He championed awareness for the cause until his untimely passing in 2006 but his legacy lives on through HEADstrong’s relentless efforts. In addition to playing lacrosse, Colleluori was also earned All-State high school honors in both football and wrestling. As a multi-sport athlete who played lacrosse collegiately at Penn State University prior to transferring to Monmouth University to pursue football, Hogan was inspired to get involved, serving as the organizations NFL player ambassador since 2015.
The funds raised through Hogan’s receptions this season will be instrumental in assisting families from New England through HEADstrong’s financial assistance program as well as the expansion of Nick’s House™, a facility which provides complimentary lodging and respite services for families seeking comprehensive cancer care. Nick’s House is located on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“I am extremely honored to be part of the HEADstrong Foundation, represent Nick Colleluori and families nationwide in the fight against cancer. I couldn’t think of a better way to show my support then to personally make a difference through each catch this season. I hope that the New England Patriot faithful will join me by matching my personal contributions. I also hope that my efforts throughout the season will help further raise awareness among the NFL community and inspire other athletes to get involved with this amazing cause.” – Chris Hogan, #15 New England Patriots WR
