  • Ken Clausen starts Lacrosse Mustache Madness as Senior Project at the University of Virginia

2010

  • Ken partners with HEADstrong to focus charity component

2011

  • With the assistance of HF’s Pat Colleulori, Lax Stache Madness becomes a staple within NCAA Men’s Lacrosse

2012

  • Lacrosse Mustache Madness continues to grow, surpassing 100k in donations for the first time

2015

  • Lax Stache partners with Warrior/New Balance for exclusive line of gear featuring the stache in lime

2017

  • Lax Stache Madness raises most money to date, topping over $200k to improve lives affect by cancer

2018

  • For the first time in the history of the campaign, Lax Stache had over 4,000 individual donors participate

2019

  • Continuing the growth, last year saw 121 colleges and universities creating fundraising teams
