Lacrosse Mustache Madness is an annual Fall fundraising campaign that was created as a way to rally the lacrosse community and raise funds to support the HEADstrong Foundation™, a non-profit organization HEADing efforts to improve quality of life for those affected by blood cancer and supports those working to eliminate the disease. Since its inception in 2009 LMM™ has helped raise over $300,000 to support the HEADstrong fight. Click here for more information on the cause.
The competition officially runs from October 19 – November 30, 2013. Over the next 6 weeks leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday follow Ken Clausen as he chronicles the madness through weekly updates and interactive video blogs on Inside Lacrosse. Post your Stache Selfies to our Gallery for a chance to earn weekly prizes. The Top 5 Stache Selfies of the Week will be hand selected by the Stache Master himself Ken Clausen.

“We are very excited to present Lacrosse Mustache Madness 5 and encourage everyone to get involved this fall. This year we challenged ourselves to enhance the campaign with amazing prizes and created ways that everyone could take part. We hope to surpass last year’s fundraising total but our goal this year isn’t necessarily a dollar value rather than a hope for mass participation. Last year 400 participants raised over $103,000 and it was nothing shy of inspirational. Just think about the impact we could make for families affected by cancer if 1,000 or better yet 5,000 people got involved this year. The funds raised will directly support families financially devastated by the disease through the services offered by HEADstrong. Over the years we have witnessed the impact that their generosity has on families and there is a growing need for their services. I encourage you to throw out your razors, register or donate today. There is no amount too small.”
