Not long after returning to Penn State from break in January 2016, we received a phone call from our son Jeff that would forever change our lives. Just two days later, he was admitted to Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center with a Leukemia diagnosis.
We tragically lost our dear Jeff only seven months after diagnosis to a rare complication. It quickly became my mission to pay tribute to Jeff’s life by becoming a volunteer with HEADstrong. I have seen first hand the amazing benefits they provide to families struggling with cancer. Our family formed the Jeff Quinn Memorial Fund under HEADstrong to further honor his life by raising money to improve the lives of cancer patients.
