HEADstrong Nick’s House Patient Program Specialist Job Opening

HEADstrong Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that continues in memory of our founder, Nicholas “HEAD” Colleluori working relentlessly to improve quality of life for those affected by cancer including Nick’s House which provides access and affordability to cancer care.  We are currently seeking a full-time Specialist in Boston.  HEADstrong Foundation has earned the highest rating, platinum level, from Guidestar.  

Primarily responsible for managing the operation Nick’s House welcoming and orienting patients. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed including safe operation of a Nick’s House operating 24/7/365. Report any operational issues to HEADquarters.  Expanding the HEADstrong Foundation’s mission in the community.

  • Maintains the safety and comfort of Nick’s House guests, volunteers, and other visitors
  • Address any issues or concerns immediately and within policy
  • Performs all guest interactions and processes including referrals, screening, check-in, orientation, stay, and check-out in strict adherence to HEADstrong Foundation operations policies
  • Work with property management company and vendors for maintenance, inspections and repairs
  • Serves as a spokesperson for the HEADstrong Foundation and actively promotes community relations and awareness of Nick’s House activities including tours for donors, community and health care groups
  • Identifies development opportunities with Nick’s House guests and community leaders that interact with Nick’s House and assists with solicitation when appropriate 
  • Assists in volunteer recruitment
  • Performs other duties as assigned including attending HF meetings as required
  • Occasional work outside of regular work hours to assist in executing relationships and programs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in healthcare, social services or hospitality
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field desired
  • Customer Service
  • Property or residential management is preferred

Salary:  $45,000 – $50,000
