HEADstrong Happenings : May 2011

May Madness

The HEADstrong Foundation thanks all our supporters for their “Relentless” efforts as together we take on Nick’s toughest opponent, blood cancers. We are one step closer to realizing Nick’s dream of conquering this disease.

The HEADstrong Foundation visited the campus of University of Massachusetts on May 6th for the Sports For Life Youth Jamboree. A very special thanks to Jeff Coulson for the generous donation and for choosing the Foundation as charity of choice. It was an amazing opportunity to share Nick’s message with the youth of New England.

SLUH Lacrosse from St. Louis Missouri held their annual “Father Marco Cup” this year on Saturday May 7th and dedicated the games to Nick and the Foundation. St. Louis University High School and DeSmet High School’s Varsity, JV and Freshman squads played in the games, players were able to donate for the privilege of wearing lime green. 182 players and 24 coaches participated raising over $6,400. The Foundation applauds their tribute.
