HEADstrong Foundation Partners With Good Day For A Run

PHILADELPHIA (January 3, 2023) – The HEADstrong Foundation announced today that it has partnered with Good Day For A Run, based in Mullica Hill, NJ. HEADstrong will become an official charity partner for many of Good Day for a Run’s events and Good Day for a Run will serve as the official timing partner at all HEADstrong running events. 

“We are excited to partner with Ken and his team at GDFAR,” HEADstrong President Cheryl Colleluori said. “They will provide exceptional service at all of our events and as a charity partner we will be able to showcase HEADstrong, our mission and the stories of those that we serve with an even bigger audience.”

Good Day for a Run (GDFAR), led by Executive Race Director Ken Culbertson, combines fitness with fun, creating professional and legitimate runs followed by fun, unique and themed after parties. Culbertson, an avid runner and event planner since 2009, is a business management graduate of Seton Hall University who is hands on with every event GDFAR is involved with. 

Through this partnership, not only will GDFAR be the official timing partner for all HEADstrong running events, including the flagship Running aHEAD of Cancer 5k in Swarthmore each fall, but participants in many of GDFAR’s 40+ events throughout the year will have the opportunity to include a donation to HEADstrong through their registration. 

HEADstrong will also have representation at a variety of GDFAR events throughout the year, which include their signature Run The Vineyards Winery Race Series at wineries throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Virginia, as well as many others. 

“Over the years, we have worked with The HEADstrong Foundation and have been extremely impressed with their commitment to providing relief for cancer patients and their families,” Culbertson said. “Partnering with HEADstrong in their endurance sports fundraising efforts coincides perfectly with our charitable goals and the mission of HEADstrong founder, Nicholas Collelluori.
