The atmosphere of the NCC is festival-like with a vendor village featuring: Brine, Warrior, Bam Shaft, Be The Match, Endeavor Performance, Spunkwear, Stylin Strings and the latest in HF Awareness Merchandise.  DJ Muve will be on site providing sounds and the games will be streamed live with commentary, compliments of Access Lacrosse.

All the teams will take the field wearing HEADstrong’s iconic lime green shoelaces to show their support for the cause. Additionally, each team will be engaged in service by selling awareness t-shirts on their campuses to help contribute to the fundraising total.

Teams will be led by an honorary team captain who is either a survivor or current cancer patient.  During the event, HEADstrong President and Nick’s Mom will present the Nicholas Colleluori Award to a player from each participating team.  The award is presented annually to a players whose contributions both on and off the field are transforming the landscape of their represented program.

The NCC combines the elements of a non-traditional collegiate lacrosse tournament with a fall festival.  Each team is provided with a 20x20ft tent which gathers friends, family, alumni and supporters of each program for an all-day team reception.  The event has become a fall tradition in the sport of lacrosse and has raised over $1,500,000 since its inception.

“On behalf of the Colleluori family, the HEADstrong Foundation and those affected by cancer we wish to extend an invitation to everyone to be part of the 8th Annual Nicholas Colleluori Classic.  We wish to personally thank the teams, coaches, parent groups, vendors, sponsors and volunteers who help to make the NCC one of the most special events in the game.  This is our flagship event and one of our largest fundraisers of the year.  We have an incredible lineup of teams this year who have championed our mission on their campuses this fall.  HF™ is about helping real people and we are focused on supporting the cancer patients and what they are all trying to overcome.  By attending this event you are assuring them that they are not alone.” Cheryl Colleluori, HF President and Nick’s Mom.
