Season opening fundraiser

The Messalonskee High School boys lacrosse team will play its first night
game Thursday, when it hosts Mt. Blue High School in a game that will
benefit the HEADstrong Foundation for blood cancer.
The HEADstrong Foundation’s website says, “The HEADstrong Foundation was
started in 2005 when Nicholas Colleluori was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin
lymphoma, an aggressive type of blood cancer that affects the lymphatic
system.”
