May’s News From Nick’s Mom

To our HEADstrong friends, family and supporters,

Thanks to a donation by our partner, Evolve IP, we provided a suite at the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships to 20 patients and their families.  Additionally, we appreciate the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office for donating Taylor Swift tickets which we have given to 17 year old Jocelyn who has been fighting cancer since the age of 2.  Please help give her an experience of a lifetime by joining our social media push by sharing #JocelynShakesItOff to get her on stage to meet her idol.

HEADstrong welcomed a team of eight interns for the summer, three are heavily involved in our grass roots marketing efforts, two are participating on graphic design/promotion projects and five are assisting with communications by writing press releases and conducting product reviews – all are vital part of our organization helping to advance our mission.

Our Project Game Day results are in.  This online fundraising tool is an easy way to support the HEADstrong Foundation. We are so grateful to those who pledged their event to HEADstrong and all those who supported them by fundraising over $62,000 allowing us to Fight aHEAD.  CLICK HERE to learn more.

We are very pleased to announce the formation of HEADstrong Patient Services Committee, 13 members comprised of caregivers, survivors and nurses who will evaluate and grow our HF programs and services. CLICK HERE to learn more.
