“On behalf of the Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame, we were honored to be able recognize the tremendous ongoing work of the Headstrong Foundation. Nick possessed a vision for what he wanted to bring to those afflicted with blood cancers. His incredible vision and concern for others has been carried on his memory by the work of the Headstrong Foundation. He left us with a tremendous lesson which we all can live by.” – Michael Iannacci, Delco Athletes Hall of Fame President

“It is with great appreciation and pride that we accept the 2013 Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame Humanitarian Award. We are truly honored by the nomination and feel blessed to be recognized amongst some incredible athletes this evening. It is the hard-work, dedication and efforts of many that have contributed to the success that we have experienced. The footprint which our Nick cast is having a positive influence not only on athletes but on the 1.5 million people living with blood cancers in our country. Our hope is to make a difference and help to improve quality of life for those facing-off against the disease. On behalf of the HEADstrong Foundation, our family and our Founder Nicholas “HEAD” Colleluori we are grateful to receive this award.”-Cheryl Colleluori, HEADstrong President and Nick’s Mom
