What is the Fall Event Series?
For the past 18 years, the HEADstrong Fall Event Series has honored the life and legacy of our founder and former Hofstra Men’s Lacrosse player Nicholas “Head” Colleluori. In its inaugural year, the 2007 Fall Event Series consisted of a handful of collegiate teams that came together to play charity games at Ridley High School – Nick’s alma mater. Since then, it has grown into the premier fall showcase for men’s and women’s collegiate lacrosse. Last year, over 80 teams from across the country, spanning Florida to Massachusetts, participated in 40+ games at over 4 venues.
The HEADstrong Fall Event Series sets the standard for preseason competition, offering high-level matchups that prepare teams for the spring season while empowering student-athletes to make a difference through advocating and fundraising in support of the HEADstrong mission.
